Starting “Furies of Calderon” by Jim Butcher. It is touted as being inspired by Tolkien &is written by a LARPer. I will love it or hate it. #
I am seriously expecting to hate it, just from reading the inscription, but am trying to keep an open mind. #
Nope, can’t do it. The first few paragraphs are too much for me. I think I will have to pass or poor Shamus will be hearing my every rant. #
And Mr. Shamus can’t STAND it when I rant while reading a book that does not meet my quality requirements for books (yes, I AM a book snob) #

Lunch over, Wii Fit over, reorganized a bit more of the kitchen, ready for a nap. #
Managed to spend the rest of the day reading Ender’s Shadow. Good book. Eyes bleary. Going to bed. #
Finally back to normal (even though I was a ditz and forgot to take my supplements yesterday). #
Oh, and good morning all. #
Wondering why I have a headache–oh yeah, coffee! (And maybe the fact that someone left Nim’s Island DVD in and it is on loop–Squawk.) #
Ah happy coffee time. #

Kids playing outside, in shorts and t-shirts. Did I mention it is 57? Umm, my kids are crazy. #
Putting snow things in a bin where they can still be easily gotten but are no longer hanging in the hall (or lying on the floor.) #
Brrr, it is COLD in the basement. #
Someone has made my children completely insane. #
Was wondering what was irritating me, then I realized I had the Chicken Dance stuck in my head! Ack! #

Car STARTED!!!!!Woohoo! (First time since January. Stupid Southern car.) #
Taking our possessed car over to Dad’s to see if we can figure out the fuses (doors won’t lock /windows won’t open.) #
Looks like a short was causing the car trouble and now the fuse is dead (and keeps dying) which is keeping the car running–we think. #
Managed to get a nice sunburn today–it was cloudy and we were working on the car in the shade. Go figure. #
Managed to mess up my ankle–actually left side joints. Stupid joints. Can’t walk. #

Twitter Updates for 2009-03-07

Had something else I really wanted to get done while the weather was decent but my brain slipped and fell and somehow lost the thought. #
Ah, the car. I was going to get the kids to help me clean out the car so I can see if I can get it started. #
CAr cleaned out–kids stuff sorted and put away, car on charger, drivers side door still shorted, haven’t tried starting it yet. #
Think I am finally ready for a shower–covered in dust and dirt from all my projects today. #
Ah the joy of cleanliness. 🙂 And warm weather clothes–finally out of yoga pants and hoodies. Kids are running around in shorts. #
Totally wiped out and ankles swollen. Grrr. Need to be more careful when I am being productive. #
Short nap and now feeling at least human. #
A blue streak just went buy my window–hmmm, I am guessing the kids got out the bikes. #
Car almost started! I thnk it would have if my jump starer hadn’t been out of juice. Sigh. #
Just realized hubby disappeared. Think he went to bed. Kids outside still. Looks like I have Netflix to myself! Yeah! #
Bibletime–So we’re going to the promised land, doot, doot. Yes we’re going to the promised laaaannnddd. #
I am thinking that my son needs a new Nascar shorts outfit-he found the one my mom bought him 3 yrs ago & has begun wearing it daily, again. #
Son wound out of his skull. #
Hoping son crashes soon–suddenly VERY tired. #
Watched Humboldt County–good movie. #
