Update on wind storms and photos
A huge old tree down in the neighbors yard.
More downed trees in back.
Our own pile of branches in the front yard–this covered our driveway.
Downed trees at my Dad’s.
I still can’t get over how blessed we are to only have wind damage. So many others are dealing with flooding. In our area, one of the worst hit in Western PA, there are still many without electric, and I guess they will be for a few more days, but the weather is fine and we are blessed not to have flooding or the other affects of Hurricane Ike. Plus not a single tornado (which is our biggest natural disaster around here.)
Glad you are all okay.
So glad you’re all okay!
I am so glad you were safe and your home was also.
I’m glad ya’ll are ok. Ike certainly had some oomph to him to make it from Texas to ya’ll. Wow!
I am glad all you have is a mess to clean up.
I like img117 with the tree hung=up high.
Wow, glad everyone’s OK!
Hurricanes are so weird: we’re just two hours northwest of Houston, and didn’t get so much as a drop of rain or a gust of wind (very frustrating since we’re in the middle of a drought). It’s amazing the the northeast got hit hard and we got nothing!
Glad there were no tornadoes sent your way!
oh wow! so glad you and your family are ok. xo
Wow. Who knew how far Ike’s arm would extend? Glad you’re okay. Like your post on unschooling.
My Mom still has no electricity and my sister’s just came back on!
