I got an internet troll that says my kid is in a bubble from home learning…that last line of your post really tells it all, doesn’t it?
not on my journal (which would make sense…lol)but on my humble blog, annoying…
anyway, didn’t mean to vent, just that your blog shows how untrue the bubble is…the bubble is in the disguise of school…lol
Like Melissa, I too was struck by the line, “comes at the cost of being different from others.” Different may not seem as safe sometimes but it sure is a lot more rewarding.
