What doesn’t work for me
This week Shannon is hosting a “What Doesn’t Work for Me” version of WFMW.
Other things that don’t work for us? Modern day ideas for being Frugal, Schedules, traditional sit-down meals, lesson plans and traditional classrooms, working outside the home, traditional church, being involved in sports, cable tv, packaged foods,….the list goes on. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂 I like the idea of what doesn’t work for you Wednesday. I can also think of long lists of things I’ve tried without any success too.
You know yourself well. I always love your honesty and willingness to throw out things that just don’t work. I can learn from this.
Oh, I missed out on this…what a fun idea!
So, let me see…you’re not so traditional? LOL
Actually, I’m very traditional I guess…but I’m glad God loves each and every one of us!
Hugs,
~Tammy
Ha! That’s a fun idea!
Greetings from another untraditional (at least in this century) family via Rocks in My Drier. Kudos to your life/school/learning method. I don’t care for the term “unschooling” either. It implies the opposite of what’s really going on!
Yes. It is interesting what some people consider frugal. I agree that you have to do what works for your family. One tip I’ve heard is to order off the Dollar menu at fast food restaurants. If our family of 7 did that, we would spend $21 on one outing. For us, frugal is not going to the fast food restaurant at all.
I agree with Shari Ellen.
We’re 8, and we have traditional sit down meals.
I cooke a lot, so friends can eat here too, and it’s less expensive and more fun.
Feel welcome to read my post about what doesn’t work for me and how I try to overcome it.
