A Day in the Life 31: Sunday at the Pond
A bit under the weather today, stupid joints, so I thought I would share pictures from our trip to the pond Sunday–this is where I grew up and very close to my heart.
Feeding the fish out on the dock.
Breaking up slate looking for fossils.
Feeding the fish.
Taking a walk.
Playing pirates.
More fish feeding–these are some well fed fish.
Pulling up anchor.
More pirates.
Fishing for the stick that was blocking the pipe.
Great photos! What a fun day!
Sorry you’re not feeling so hot, hoping that’s temporary…
omw … how breathtakingly beautiful!
very sorry about those stupid joints.
just picked up stool collection kits for my kids … now, doesn’t that sound like fun 🙂
I know I’ve not been commenting but I’ve really enjoyed your last few posts. I love hearing about your children’s discoveries and projects but most of all I like how you can tell from the pictures that they actually like being with each other. That is a precious gift.
My girls have a jacket just like Esther is wearing! It’s all my youngest wanted for her fifth birthday. Couldn’t find one cheap enough and then we went to the Salvation Army downtown. She fell in love, of course hers is longer on her.
Sorry to hear your joints are acting up. Other than that, how are you guys doing?
I remember some fun times spent by that pond myself. Do you remember that time we were walking through the woods and came upon a couple of deer right in our path?
I’ve been up and down lately too.
Love the photos. Absolutely beautiful.
