I did it!
I now am running a dual boot system: Windows XP and Ubuntu. I am all thrilled and stuff. And I managed to rake the leaves/mulch out of the flowerbeds so the plants can peak out. And I managed to get my Illustration Friday done this week–based on my kids’ attempt to make a garden using plastic Ello flowers and transplanted weeds.
Yea!!! I had full confidence in you =)
Congrats! And what a sweet illustration.
Such a lovely drawing, so sweet!
You make me feel like a lazy bum… I have been meaning to reinstall my Windows system (I’ve been using my Mac laptop instead, lol) and my garden beds linger in neglect…
and i love the pic … the colors are so vibrant :).
your flowers are peeking out!!!!! i am so jealous. 🙂 our snow is just beginning to melt this week….and there is ALOT of it so i’m sure it will take awhile to see the last of it gone!
I agree with Ame. The colors in this one are so vibrant. Lovely.
On the Ubuntu install – Since you first mentioned it I have been poking around finding Linux programs to replace my favorite Windows ones as I too am hoping to switch. I am now only one program short. If I can ask, do you track your finances on the computer. If so what are you using? We use MS Money extensively. I would have a hard time leaving it behind on a switch to Ubuntu.
BTW, thanks for all the updates on your Ubuntu adventure.
Oh, that is a lovely sketch! I love the colors!
