Bloggy Love
I have received the E is for Excellence award from Seeking Faithfulness and Diary of 1.
I have been pondering for some time who all I should pass it on to. At least in this one it doesn’t matter so much who all have already received it. (I am always a bit slow on these things and everyone I know has already done all the memes.)
The rules are as follows (oh and I am bad at rules.) By accepting this Excellent Blog Award, you have to award it to 10 more people whoโs blogโs you find Excellent Award worthy. You can give it to as many people as you want but please award at least 10. Thank you out there for having such great blogs and being such great friends! You deserve this! Feel free to award people who have already been awardedโฆ (Those awarded are listed below the following.)
I have been tagged by Life Nurturing Education for the book thing
Here are the rules:
- Pick up the nearest book of at least 123 pages.
- Open the book to page 123.
- Find the 5th sentence.
- Post the next 3 sentences.
- Tag 5 people.
Yesterday I picked up a new book, The Lioness and Her Knight, at the library which looked appealing (I have a thing for all things King Arthur, always have) and which just happens to be sitting here by my desk. I seldom read in here, preferring my bedroom to the office but with Rachel sick I wanted to stay in earshot and finished it while she was watching Swiss Family Robinson (which iI hate) and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
(which is one of my favorites.) In fact I had enjoyed the book so much I was considering writing a review. ๐
S0, page 123, the 5th through 7th sentences:
“He heard,” Terrence said.
Gawain shrugged. “For whatever reason, Agrivain charged, and Ywain popped him off his horse as neatly as you could wish.
Kind of an awkward bit. The rest of the book is full of self-effacing humor. Good book and a nice change from most of the tripe out there. ๐
Hmmm. Do I really have to play tag? I always hated playing tag. I was never fast enough. Who do I know who probably has an interesting book on hand????
And back to the E is for Excellence award. Hmmm. I read a lot of blogs and many of them are excellent. Some of them are ones that everyone knows about but there are others, excellent little blogs with wonderful characters behind them who deserve some recognition. The five I listed above are definite winners of this award in fact you all have to go check them out. I also believe that both those who awarded me have excellent blogs and deserve the award. So two more go to Seeking Faithfulness and Diary of 1.
Now, who else?
and there was someone else but my brain is melting and I can’t seem to count anyway (I was supposed to choose 10. ๐
Never mind, found it!!!
Also, Toni.
Hey, I’ll play along with that meme. I have seen it dozens of times, but never been tagged.
And thanks so much for your thoughtful award. You totally deserve it too. I also am MUCH TOO SLOW in passing them on! I really need to do it though.
BTW, I think that the Money Saving Mom blog also posts the Rite Aid deals. Near my mom’s house they have Rite Aid and the clerk is always giving me a coupon to use when I’m there.
Thanks, Heather!! I just happened on this blog hopping! Like you, I got it a few days ago and have been procrastinating trying to figure out who to give it to! So now, I’m a bit more motivated…and it helps to know that you can award someone who has already recieved it!
Thanks for playing along. And congratulations on the award!
ohhhhhhh..thanks heather! ๐ i think you’re excellant!
Thanks so much, Heather!
(The Boy WAS Spiderman. Spiderman at a hockey game.)

Hey, thanks for passing the E award back to me. ๐
Thank you for the E award. That’s very kind of you. ๐
Well you KNOW I have TONS of books =)
Thank you, sweet friend.
Thank you so much for the E award! I was checking out my site meter stats and followed a link on there to your blog, and lo and behold, what a pleasant surprise to find that I had an E award here! You’re very sweet. And you probably don’t know my name since I don’t normally put it on my blog, but apparently we share the same first name. :o)
